This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Tower of Babel (the “App”), developed by Janet McCray and Table Seven Studios, handles your information.
We do not collect, store, or sell any personal information. The App does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, address, phone number, location, or any other directly-identifying information. The App does not include any analytics SDKs.
When you submit a score to a leaderboard, the App uses Apple Game Center. Game Center may display your public Game Center nickname (the alias you chose in your Apple ID settings) alongside your score so that other players can see it on the public leaderboard. Game Center is operated by Apple and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not control what Game Center collects. If you do not want to participate in leaderboards, you can sign out of Game Center in your iOS Settings.
The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. We have configured AdMob to deliver non-personalized ads only. Non-personalized ads do not use your advertising identifier (IDFA) or any cross-app/cross-site behavioural profile to choose what is shown; they are selected based only on contextual signals such as the current page or coarse location derived from your IP address.
For this reason the App does not trigger Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt — we are not asking for, and do not use, the device's advertising identifier for tracking.
Google's use of the limited information it does receive (such as IP address, device characteristics, ad-interaction data, and SKAdNetwork attribution sent by Apple) is described in the Google Ads Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
You can also permanently remove ads from the App by purchasing the one-time “Remove Ads” in-app purchase. When the purchase is active, no ad requests are made and AdMob receives no data through the App.
In-app purchases (including the “Remove Ads” product) are processed entirely by Apple’s App Store. Apple, not Table Seven Studios, handles your payment information. We never see, store, or transmit your credit card or Apple ID credentials. Apple may share an anonymous transaction identifier with the App so that we can grant the purchased entitlement.
The App is suitable for general audiences and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through any of the third-party services above, please contact us using the email below and we will work with the relevant provider to address it.
Because we do not directly collect personal data, we do not retain any. Scores submitted to leaderboards are stored as a public score record (alias and altitude) for as long as the leaderboard is operated. You can request that your Game Center alias be removed from leaderboards by contacting us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
